Try a drawing exercise
Take 10 minutes a day to do one of these drawing exercises the result are not important, it doesn’t have to “look good”. The exercises will change how you see the world:

1. Contour Drawing
Objective: Learn to draw what is in front you.
How to do it: Choose an object (like your hand or a mug). Without looking at your paper, trace its outline with your eyes and let your hand follow. Like all these exercises, you are not trying to create a likeness to the object. It’s a way of training your brain to draw what is in front of you.
2. Negative Space Drawing
Objective: Learn to see shapes instead of objects.
How to do it: Draw the space around an object instead of the object itself.
3. Upside-Down Drawing
Objective: Learn to see shapes instead of objects.
How to do it: Turn any image, photo, piece of artwork that you like upside-down and draw it
4. Continuous drawing
Objective: Shift drawing perception
How to do it: Do not take the pencil off the paper, draw a continuous line.
